Martin & Associates
At Martin & Associates, we assist our clients in identifying and quantifying potential environmental, health and safety (EHS) liabilities with a focus towards reducing the financial uncertainty normally associated with these issues. By helping clients understand the practical implications of identified liabilities and providing strategic options to resolve these conditions, we strive to eliminate and control obstacles that could delay or even preclude a merger and/or acquisition transaction.
The professionals at Martin & Associates, have performed thousands of projects related to the transfer of commercial/industrial properties and operations. These projects have supported mergers and acquisitions, development of new sites, and remediation and redevelopment of distressed (“brownfield”) sites. We have provided these services to industrial and commercial clients, financial institutions, developers and local, State and Federal agencies. Services offered by Martin & Associates to support site acquisition and development work include the following:
•Detailed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs) that comply with either or both the federal rule entitled “Standards and Practices for All Appropriate Inquiries” (40 CFR Part 312) or ASTM’s Phase I environmental site assessment standards E 1527-05 (ASTM E-1527-05), ASTM E-1528-06 and other guidance;
